Information Sheet: Please note – Fees and space availability are subject to change and dependent upon the use of the space and number of people. 10% discount offered with Made in NY card. Please visit the Liturgical calendar to view the days the church may be unavailable and for the times of services.  Saint Mary's does not close the church for filming and will keep to service schedules.  However, depending on the day we can move to a chapel with prior approval.
 
Thank you for your interest in utilizing the space at Saint Mary’s. While the Church may make its property and facilities available for occasional use by appropriate groups and organizations, the Church is not in the business of renting its property or facilities, in competition with the many businesses that exist for this purpose. Organizations are encouraged to consider making a voluntary donation to cover the costs of utility charges, maintenance and any other expenses directly associated with the their particular use of Church premises (such as clean-up costs). 
 
The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin is open from 7 AM to 7 PM on weekdays. Fees are reflective of those hours. Any time before or after these times will incur an additional $30.00 an hour for staff. Weekend hours are 10 AM to 7 PM. 
The following areas are available for use: The fees represent a minimum suggested cost per hour. For holding above one hundred people fees would increase per need and wear and tear on the property. Filming- we reserve the right to increase the fee per hour based on the potential wear and tear on the property and employees.
  
Saint Benedict’s Study - $50.00 an hour. $30.00 an hour and hour additional after normal church hours. Room with conference table and seats 25 comfortably. Bathroom facilities.
 
Saint Joseph’s Hall – $100.00 minimum an hour depending on circumstances and time. $30.00 and hour additional after normal church hours. Large space - ideal for holding actors on locations with high ceilings, kitchen and bathroom facilities. Holds 175 comfortably and can fit more as needed. Chairs and tables are available. We have 100 hundred folding chairs, 5 round tables, 5 small tables and 6 6ft. tables available.
 
Saint Mary’s Church - $100.00 minimum an hour depending on circumstances and time. $30.00 and hour additional after normal church hours. Available under limited circumstances with approval by the Rector. Additionally, there are three smaller chapels available for use. 
 
Mission House – $75.00 minimum an hour depending on circumstances and time. $30.00 and hour additional after normal church hours. Room with conference table, small sink and seats 45 comfortably. Bathroom facilities.
 
Available days and times - are subject to the normal running of a church. Sunday’s, holidays and feast days of the church prohibit the rental of space at that time. 
 
Agreement – Saint Mary’s will provide a standard agreement.
 
Certificate of Insurance – must be supplied with the signed agreement. 
 
Payment – All checks should be made out to The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin. Full payment is expected on the first day of rental. 
 
Deposits – Depending on circumstances we will ask for ½ deposit of the full amount to secure space. 
 
Cancellation – Cancellation within in two days of rental requires 15% of the full rental amount to be paid. Less then 24 hours notice requires the deposit amount or ½ of the full rental amount. 
 
Security – All renters are required to provide security as outlined in the agreement.
 
The Facilities – All renters are responsible for the care of the space as outlined in the agreement.
